Myron C. "Jack" Musser, 92, of Williamsport, and formerly of Muncy, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born June 1, 1920, in Spring Mills, Pa., he was a son of the late Wiley C. and Ruth (Stover) Musser. On Aug. 7, 1943, he married the former Jean Fritz, with whom he shared 56 years until her death on Jan. 4, 2000. On May 18, 2002, he married the former Sarah DeRubertis, who survives.
A 1938 graduate of Muncy High School, he served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. Jack worked as the Personnel Manager at the former J & L Steel, later Bridon-American, retiring after more than 40 years of employment.

Jack was the oldest living member at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Muncy. He was a life member of the Edward J. Smith Post No. 3428 V.F.W., Muncy; a 60-plus year member of Muncy Lodge No. 299, F&AM; and a member of the Muncy Valley Moose Lodge No. 866. Among his favorite pastimes were playing golf and bridge. For 20 years he enjoyed traveling to Arizona to spend winters, and he volunteered at the veteran's clinic in Williamsport. A devoted family man, he loved his grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Sarah, are two sons and daughters-in-law, R. Stephen and Janet Musser of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Edward F. and Lynne Musser of Benton; one sister, Doris VanDervoort of Montoursville; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Robert, David, Thomas and Calvin Musser and Brandi Lezon; and 12 great-grandchildren, Caden, Cole, Cora, Olivia, Ella, Broderick and Annika Musser, Jacob and Clarissa Lezon, Drake and Chloe Musser and Elijah Kocher.
In addition to his parents and first wife, Jean, he was predeceased by three brothers, Stover, Cameron and Alson Musser; and two sisters, Betty Heberling and Shirley Harrison.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be his pastor, Rev. Dr. Donald P. Edwards. Burial with full military honors will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
