William H. Martin, 76, of Linden, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born March 25, 1936, in Jersey Shore, he was the son of the late Arnold and Eleanor (Smith) Martin. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lukens.
Bill retired from AVCO where he worked for 30 years. He enjoyed antique cars, riding motorcycles and mini tractor pulls.
Surviving are his four children, Arnold E. Gee (Wendy Bailey) of Montoursville, Gary L. (Crystal) Martin of Linden, Kenneth L. Martin of Linden and Cheryl L. (Derek) Roupp of Salladasburg; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Mary Cowher of Boise, Idaho; and girlfriend, Shirley Munsell of Williamsport.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Woodward Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary.
