February 24, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

"Look Good Feel Better" is a free workshop that teaches beauty techniques to women in active treatment to help combat the appearance-related side effect of cancer treatment.

The workshops will be held on the following dates:

6 to 8 p.m. March 4 at Susquehanna Cancer Center at Divine Providence Hospital.

6 to 8 p.m. March 13 at Lock Haven Hospital in the HR Conference room.

Registration is required for both classes by calling 800-227-2345.

Trained volunteer beauty professionals will help participants cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetic and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry and also through the use of wigs, scarves and other accessories.

LGFB is a national public service program and a free, non-medical, product-neutral program, offered as a collaborative effort of the American Cancer Society, the Professional Beauty Association and National Cosmetology Association and Personal Care Products Council Foundation, a charitable organization supported by the cosmetic industry.
