Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gunns, Hughesville, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22, 2013.
They were married by the Rev. R. Croyel at the Methodist Church, Reynoldsville. They were married in a second Catholic ceremony by the Rev. Karney in Annunciation Church.
They are the parents of one daughter, Jennifer A., of Denver, Colo., and two sons, Paul, Montgomery, and Robert II, of Charles Town, W.Va.

There are two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, they had a horse driven sleigh ride, dinner and dancing in the Frisco Mountains, Colo.
