This is in response to Richard James and his letter to ban all guns. I am totally against guns, too, but if they banned all guns the law abiding citizens would have no protection against the millions of drug addicts who I am sure would still own guns and use them to steal for a fix. But there is no reason whatsoever for anyone to own an assault rifle or any gun that fires multiple rounds, except for police and military.
