Beginners Firearms Safety Course: Participants will learn how to safely load a firearm, safely unload a firearm, safe clearing procedures, basic pistol shooting skills, the differences between a revolver and semi-automatic pistol and how to shoot each one, and more.

A one-day class will be held 6-9 p.m. Feb. 28

Ladies 5-week program: Classroom training on firearms safety and handling as well as tactics in self-defense, in particular, dealing with home invasions. Participants must attend each date.

Upcoming programs will be held Wednesday evenings beginning April 3; or Thursday evenings beginning March 21
