Workforce Development and Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering 10 noncredit Adobe courses from mid-February through May.
For those new to Photoshop, learn the most powerful tools for editing photos in Mastering Photoshop: Level I on Thursdays, Feb. 28 through March 21.
For more advanced topics, register for Level II on Thursdays, March 28 through April 18. Classes for both courses are held from 6 to 9 p.m.
Photoshop Elements 10 is designed for the hobbyist or novice photographer. The six-hour course will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on March 15 and 22, and again from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 2 and 9.
Attend Adobe Acrobat X Pro: Level I to discover how to create forms and share PDFs. The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 6, and again from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 17 and 24. No experience with Adobe Acrobat is needed.
Move toward a paperless office by creating digital forms in the Adobe Acrobat Pro Dynamic Forms course, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 19.
Create complex and attractive illustrations and type effects using Illustrator CS5. Level I teaches participants how to draw and manipulate simple shapes. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 8, and again from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 3 and 10.
Level II, to be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 29 and May 6, demonstrates how to manage color, work with graphs and control how illustrations will appear in print and on the web.
Create eye-catching printed documents using InDesign CS5. Learn the basics in Level I, to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 19, and again from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 8 and 15.
Level II heightens participants' knowledge by using advanced features. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 1.
