Conference scheduled
Freedom House Community Worship Center, 1700 Memorial Ave., will hold its eighth annual conference featuring guest speakers, ministers and congregations from the eastern U.S. An official opening with a praise, consecration and revival service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday. Workshops are set from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday with a revival service at 7 that night. The conference charge and minister's licenses will be presented at 5 p.m. Sunday. Indoor carnival
MONTGOMERY - An indoor carnival featuring games, prizes, food and live music will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the gymnasium of New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road. Jews for Jesus
MUNCY - Muncy Presbyterian Church, 10 Penn St., will host Dave Liebman, of Jews for Jesus, during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The hour-long presentation will include a Christ in the Passover seder meal. A free-will offering will be received.
Chicken and biscuit dinner
Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $8.50 for adults, $4 for 6-12 and free for those 5 and under. Proceeds will benefit outreach ministries.
Puppet dinner theater
MILTON - The Kingdom Kidz Inc. is sponsoring a Puppet Dinner Theater at First Baptist Church, 319 Golf Course Road, at 12:30 p.m. A full-course homemade ham loaf, mashed potatoes, peas, applesauce, dessert and beverage meal will be provided in the fellowship hall of the church by Jim Hilner of the Checkered Flag Restaurant. At 1:30, the Watsontown Christian Academy puppet team and Kingdom Kidz will give the presentation which they gave in Jamaica during the student's mission trip.
Choral Evensong service
Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry St., will hold a service of Choral Evensong at 5 p.m. Featuring works by John Bertalot and Gabriel Faure, the choir of female voices will be led by Director of Music Allyn Landon. Philip Maue is the organist. A reception will follow.
