Announcement has been made of the engagement of Lorraine Krall, St. Louis, Mo., and Lewis McCrary, Washington, D.C.
A July 6 wedding at Annunciation Church is being planned.
Krall is the daughter of Sharon and Michael Krall, Cogan Station. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2001, she received a bachelor's degree in political science and English from Grove City College in 2005 and a doctorate degree in political science from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., in 2012. She is employed by Washington University, St. Louis, as a postdoctoral fellow.

McCrary is the son of Robin Evert, Grass Valley, Calif., and Larry McCrary, Portola, Calif. He graduated from Nevada Union High School, Grass Valley, in 2001, he received a bachelor's degree in politics and philosophy from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., in 2005 and a master's degree in intellectual history from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., in 2008. He is pursuing a graduate degree in political science from George-town University and is employed by The National Interest, Washington, D.C., as managing editor.
