WAVERLY, N.Y. - Animal Care Sanctuary and Bradford County Humane Society held "A Night to Paws" fundraiser Feb. 9 at the Club at Shepard Hills.
Jen Spencer, executive director of BCHS and Joan Smith-Reese, executive director of Animal Care Sanctuary, expressed overwhelming gratitude for all of the contributors that made the evening special. More than $8,000 was raised to benefit the two organization's animals.
Music was provided by Dennis Winge, a jazz guitarist from Elmira and DJ Express Yourself.
Next year's event is scheduled for Feb. 8, 2014, and the length of the event will be extended by one hour as requested by attendees.
