ROUNDUP: Penn State women clinch share of Big 10 title

Maggie Lucas scored 34 points to lead seventh-ranked Penn State to an 82-67 victory over No. 20 Nebraska on Sunday, clinching the Lady Lions' second straight outright Big Ten championship

Lucas made a career-high eight 3-pointers, with four of them coming in a bunch to help the Lady Lions stretch their lead in the first half and three more keeping the Huskers at bay early in the second.

Mansfield split a pair of games in college softball action Sunday, beating Brevard, 5-4, and losing to Lenoir-Rhyne, 2-0. Courtney Bauder and Kate Pratt each homered and drove in all five runs for Mansfield in the win.

Bucknell beat Seton Hall, 4-0, in the opener of a doubleheader, but lost the nightcap, 4-2. Courtney Conover was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs in the Bison's win.

Lock Haven swept a pair of games from Goldey-Beacom, 7-0 and 9-0. Pitcher Brianna Jennings allowed just two hits in the opener and Sarah Morse allowed just three in the second game. Bridgette Clarke went a combined 3 for 7 with four runs scored, and Nicole Smith homered in the nightcap and drove in four runs.

Bucknell's baseball team beat Harvard, 7-4, before losing to No. 19 Virginia, 9-1. Forey Furman homered and drove in a pair of runs in the win over the Crimson, and Rob Krentzman was 2 for 3 with an RBI in the loss to Virginia.

Williamsport graduate Kyle Schneider pitched six stellar innings, allowing just one run for Slippery Rock in a 5-3 win over Mansfield. Loyalsock graduate Stephen Stopper was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run for Mansfield.
