Randall J. Allison
Randall J. Allison, of 1308 Elmira St., has announced his intention to seek re-election to the Williamsport City Council in the Republican primary in May.
Serving in the final year of his first term on council, Allison is in his fourth year on the public safety committee and second year on the finance committee and chairs the economic revitalization committee.
Prior to that he served for two years on the public works and housing needs committees.
Allison also is in his fourth year as council representative to the STEP Inc. board and was elected treasurer of the board this year.
He also served three terms on the Williamsport Area School Board from 1985 through 1997 and seven years on the board of directors of the Pregnancy Care Center of the Susquehanna Valley.
Allision is a committeeman for the 14th Ward on the Lycoming County Republican Committee.
A lifelong city resident, Allison graduated from Williamsport High School and attended the University of Notre Dame and Lycoming College.
He is in his 35th year of employment with UGI Penn Natural Gas in the customer service department.
He also serves as an elder at the Door Fellowship Church and is involved with Bible study and prison ministries.
Allison and his wife, Debra, soon to celebrate 39 years of marriage, have four children and four grandchildren.
William C. Smith
William C. Smith, 61, of Loyalsock Township, is seeking the Republican nomination for Loyalsock Township supervisor in May's primary.
Smith, who graduated from Loyalsock Township High School, is a lifelong resident of the township.
For the past 43 years he has worked in the construction business.
