Jane B. Sweitzer, 90, of Jersey Shore and formerly of Laquin, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at her home.
She was born March 29, 1922, in Williamsport, the daughter of Stanley and Cleo (Hatch) Barclay.
Jane was the wife of the late Myron "Rudy" Sweitzer who passed in 1998.
She had been a member since age 12 of the St. James Lutheran Church where she was a pianist and choir member.
Jane was a charter member of the Tiadaghton Court No. 136 Order of Amaranth.
She was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and attended Miss Wheaton's School of Business.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannine P. (Ray) Kozen, and two sons, Eric S. (Deborah) Sweitzer and Craig W. Sweitzer, all of Jersey Shore; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Ed) Hughes, Timothy (Ann) Sweitzer, Kimberly (Justin) Peterson, Chad (Mary Rose) Sweitzer, Christopher Kozen and Shane Kozen; four stepgrandchildren, Pam (Floyd) Quick, Rhonda Allen, Susan (Andrew) Young and Ray (Danielle) Kozen Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Jack Gill, Timothy Sweitzer, Gavin Sweitzer, Jocelyn Peterson and Kassidy Peterson; eight stepgreat-grandchildren, Joshua (Nikki) Ross, Dakota Quick, Ashley Quick, Andrew Young Jr., Ashley (Thane) Ritter, Stacy Young, Kirsten Kozen and Ray (R.J.) Kozen; one great-great-grandchild, Brayden Gill; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren, Abagail Young, Riley Ritter and Loraine Morton.
Jane was predeceased by a grandchild, Michael Kozen and a stepgreat-great-grandchild, Ellianna Hinston.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jane's Life Celebration beginning with a visitation Sunday evening, March 10, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at the St. James Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Shumway officiating. Tiadaghton Court No. 136 Order of Amaranth will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
