Man allegedly threatens to ‘skin’ mother

March 8, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

A South Williamsport man has been charged with terroristic threats and harassment for allegedly calling his mother and allegedly telling her that he was going to "skin her alive," according to Chief County Detective William Weber.

David Erich Geiger, 28, of 311 Hastings St., called his mother on Jan. 30 and allegedly made the threat, Weber said. On parole for an unknown violation, Geiger apparently was upset with his mother, blaming her for "putting him in jail" last year following an incident with city police on Reach Road, Weber said.

Following his arraignment Monday before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Geiger was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
