Thomas E. Long, 60, of Williamsport, died Thursday, March 8, 2013, at the Gatehouse.
Born Sept. 21, 1952, in Williamsport, he was a son of Orville F. and Valaria V. (Federowicz) Long. He was preceded in death by his father, and sisters, Annette M. Long and Theresa Workman.
Tom was an employee at Lycoming College. He was an avid crafter, liked watching movies, collecting roses and owls, and loved being with people.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, Harold L. Long of Williamsport, Franklin P. Long of Newcastle, and Michael J. Long (Cheryl) of Jersey Shore; a sister, Catherine L. Spotts of Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Divine Providence Hospital Chapel, 1100 Grampian Blvd. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery. www.KnightConfer.com
