Wellsboro lost in the first round of the PIAA??Class AA boys basketball playoffs Saturday, 63-47 to Delone Catholic.
Delone opened up with a 16-2 first quarter lead but Wellsboro fought back with a 14-12 second quarter in their favor to cut it to 28-16. But the Green Hornets couldn't pull much closer.
Elsewhere, Lewisburg fell 60-55 to Holy Cross after pulling even in the third quarter. Travis Conrad scored 29 points in the loss.
