Robert G. Stevens Jr., 66, of Cogan Station, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born Oct. 1, 1946, in Clearfield, he was a son of Robert G. Stevens, Sr. and Betty L. (Burge) Reichenbach. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Robert E. Stevens; and a grandson, Jacob A.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and served two tours during the Vietnam War. He married Doris E. Beamer on Dec. 24, 1972, and celebrated 40 years together. Robert retired from Trimtex after many years of service. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, yard work and could fix anything.

Surviving are his wife, mother, and stepfather, Harry Reichenbach.
Surviving, in addition, are a son, Robert G. Stevens III of York; a granddaughter, Ellie M.; two brothers, Scott J. Kaiser of Morrisdale and Joseph Kaiser of Hazelton; and a sister, Claudia Eck (Jack) of Cogan Station.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to The Gatehouse Hospice or The Cancer Center at Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Services will be at a later date.
