On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, God called Brian Anthony Hilliard home. He was the beloved son of Dorothy E Hilliard, Montoursville, Pa., and Arnold V. Hilliard, Windham, N.H. He was the Best Big Brother to Stephen M. Hilliard, Harrisburg, Pa.
Brian was born March 8, 1978, in Naval Regional Medical Center, Camp Lejune, N.C. Brian graduated from Mandarin High School, Jacksonville, Fla., in 1996. Brian received his bachelor's degree from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Spring, N.C., and his M.B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Brian moved back to Jacksonville and was employed with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
Brian was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Jacksonville, Fla. He was an Eagle Scout, student athlete, a member of the St. Joseph Music Ministry, where he shared his love and gift of music.
Brian is survived by his parents and brother, along with his five aunts, Dr. Marian V. Wilson, Silver Spring, Md., June Wilson Moore, Lancaster, Pa., Hope E. Wilson, Cincinnati, Ohio, Adrienne Hilliard and Gloria Hilliard of Philadelphia, Pa; his four uncles, Kenneth Hilliard and Kevin Hilliard, of Philadelphia, Pa., Wilbert P. Wilson Jr. (Ina) Bowie, Md., Patrick W. Wilson (Jennifer) Williamsport, Pa.; many cousins and extended family.
Brian is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Wilbert P. and Martha (Sweeting) Wilson, and paternal grandparents, Samuel and Dorothy (Pitts) Hilliard and Aunt Judith E. Banks.
Funeral Mass for Brian is Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, (there will not be a visitation) Williamsport, Pa. A memorial to celebrate Brian's life will be held in Jacksonville, Fla., at a later date.
Burial is in Resurrection Cemetery, Williamsport, Pa.
