Christopher Livingston Winters, 71, of Philadelphia and formerly Williamsport, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at the Watermark at Logan Square Retirement Community in Philadelphia.
He was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Manhattan, N.Y., the son of Frank Foote Winters and Shirley Brown Winters and the stepson of Hope Winters.
Christopher had lived in Montclair, N.J., before his family moved to Williamsport, where his father founded Penn Central Containers.

He was President of Beacon Container Corporation in Montoursville for 34 years.
Christopher attended Susquehanna University and Mercersburg Academy.
His hobbies included boating, both power and sail, he was a skilled sailor, keeping up with the current events and following politics. He was also at one time the President of the local Toastmasters. While living in Williamsport, he would often be found boating on the Susquehanna River and was a member of the West Branch Motor Boat Association.
Christopher is survived by his children, Frank Winters of Princeton, N.J., Aimee Winters of Philadelphia and Lorene Campman of Williamsport; a stepsister, Pam (David Becker) Winters and their daughter, Amanda of Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Laurence Winters.
Relatives and friends are invited to Christopher's Life Celebration service noon Friday, March 15, 2013, at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
