St. Patrick's Day themed blood drive
RAUCHTOWN - St. James Lutheran Church will host a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. All donors will receive a green American Red Cross Saint Patrick's Day T-shirt and an Irish lunch. Schedule an appointment to donate at redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767 and select St. James. Walk-ins are welcome.
Lycoming Creek Lions Club to hold chicken barbecue
The Lycoming Creek Lions Club will hold a chicken barbecue from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Dinners will be take out only and will include a half chicken, baked potato, pepper cabbage, roll and dessert. They are asking for an $8 donation, with all proceeds benefiting local charities. Dinners can be picked up at Lions Hall, Route 15 N., Hepburnville, or at Citizens and Northern Bank parking lot, 1510 Dewey Ave.
