Loyalsock Garden Club to hold monthly meeting
The Loyalsock Garden Club will hold their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist Church, 1225 Clayton Ave.
Myra Kittle will conduct a workshop on how to create an indoor winter garden. Members should bring a container. All other supplies will be provided.
Hostesses for the evening will be Pat Chestnut, Erdean White, Cathy Bierly and Eva Pellegrino.
Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild to hold March meeting
WELLSBORO - The march meeting of the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will be held at 7 p.m. night at the Gmeiner Arts and Cultural Center, 134 Main St.
After a business meeting and a show-and-tell of members' recent quilt projects, long-time guild member Marjory Harris, from Armenia Mountain, will present a trunk show of the many quilts she has made.
The guild's annual spring retreat is scheduled for March 21 to 24 at Watson Homestead.
National lecturer, Gayleen Fitzgerald, will do a full day workshop on today.

Muncy Public Library announces activity schedule
The Muncy Public Library, 108 S. Main St., Muncy, announced the following schedule of activities for the month of March and into April. All activities require registration to join:
Preschool Storytime: 10:45 to 11:15 a.m., Wednesdays, March 20 through April 10, ages 4 to 6 years, includes reading stories, crafts, movement activities and songs.
Transition Train Storytime: 7 to 7:45 p.m. Thursdays, March 21 through April 11, ages 3 to 4 with caregivers, storytime for those not quite of pre-school age.
Early Bird Toddler Tales: 10 to 10:45 a.m. Fridays, March 22 through April 12, ages 1 to 3 years with caregivers, repetitive music and movement, familiar stories and songs, and open-play.
Kite-Making Workshop: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23, all ages, make and decorate individual kites.

Williamsport Herb Guild to hold meeting
"Herbs That Attract Butterflies" will be the topic at the guild meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at Covenant-Central Presbyterian Church, 807 W. Fourth St.
Speaker will be Sandy Murray, master gardener and Herb Guild member. Come and find out which caterpillars are found on dill or fennel will turn into a butterfly.
Recipes for the herbs also will be provided. The meeting is open to the public.
