Autopsy on 21-year-old inconclusive

March 16, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

An autopsy conducted Friday morning on the woman whose body was found in a second-floor studio at the Pajama Factory on Thursday morning was inconclusive, according to the Lycoming County Coroner Office.

There were no signs of trauma to the body and it will take several weeks before the results of toxicology tests done Regina Lapp, 21, of South Williamsport, will be known, officials said.

Lapp was found dead at the factory at 1307 Park Ave. about 9:45 a.m. Thursday. She had gone there hours earlier to get some sleep in a studio rented by a friend's father. The son also was asleep in the studio and was awakened when his father stopped by, police said. Efforts to rouse the woman were unsuccessful, officials said.
