Irene D. Stout, of South Williamsport, passed away at the Williamsport Home on March 15, 2013.
Irene was born on Dec. 19, 1918, at Williamsport. She was the daughter of the late William and Barbara (Krim) Steinbacher.
Irene was a member of the Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church at South Williamsport.
She loved to cook and spend time with her children. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.
Irene is survived by her five children, John (Sharon) Stout of Williamsport, Pa., James (Nancy) Stout of South Williamsport, Yvonne Schley of Camp Hill, Robert Stout of Dillsburg, Pa., and David (Doris) Stout of Windham, Maine. Irene is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Harold C. Stout, her son-in-law George Schley, and her late parents.
Funeral services for Irene Doris Stout will be held at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, today, Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Stephen D. McGough officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
