Naming the slabtown bridge for Mr. Logue is well deserved.
I knew him for 50+ years and worked for him for eight. Ultimately he fired me (I agreed) but then became my best friend. Get together for lunch and an afternoon and there was none of the typical retired people conversation. Ugh.
Boring. His thinking was always about tomorrow; never the past.
He started three successful businesses without subsidies of tax relief or outright grants.
His collecting hobby subject was probably the best in America. I look forward to the unveiling of the plaque at the bridge. I will be there.
