A city woman charged with allegedly stealing cartons of cigarettes three times from Smoker's Express in Montoursville has also been accused of racking up $900 worth of purchases on four stolen credit cards, according to court records.
Danielle Marie Baker, 41, of 927 Arch St., has been charged by Montoursville police with allegedly stealing cigarettes from the business at 908 Broad St. on Jan. 2, Jan. 5 and again Jan. 6. In this case she has been charged with three counts each of misdemeanor shoplifting and receiving stolen property.
In the other case, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police have charged Baker with allegedly using four stolen credit cars that belonged to April Hennigan. The cards were in a purse that was stolen from the victim's car while it was parked outside her home in the 300 block of Elm Street overnight Jan. 11, police said.
The cards were used within hour of the purse being stolen, police said.
In this case, Baker has been charged with eight counts of forgery, 10 counts of access device fraud and four counts of receiving stolen property. She remains jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $80,000 bail.
