Michael H. Weinhardt, 50, of Montoursville, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 30, 2013, at his home.
Born Aug. 22, 1962, in Williamsport, he was a son to Henry H. Jr. and Shirley E. Gingery Weinhardt. He was preceded in death by his father and by his wife of 24 years, Billie Jo (Bracey) Weinhardt on Dec. 7, 2012.
He was a graduate of Loyalsock High School and worked as an electrician at Leece Electric. Mike had a strong love for music, and was a self-taught musician and songwriter. He played with a variety of local bands. He was a member of the Loyalsock Hotel Pool League and a member of the local 812 Electrician Union. He was rabid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and will always be remembered as a jokester.
Surviving are his mother, Shirley E. Weinhardt of Florida; three daughters, Felicia L. (William Showers) Weinhardt of Montoursville, Angel M. (Jeremiah) Waltz of Cammal and Michelle L. (Eric Barto) Bracey of Hughesville; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Cynthia (John) Barrett of Lock Haven, Donna L. Weinhardt of Williamsport and Pamela (Joseph) Campana of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary.
