Pamela R. Doane, 59, of Cogan Station, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, surrounded by her family, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 10, 1953, in Williamsport, she was a daughter to Howard and Irene (Jones) Henne. She was preceded in death by her father in 2001.
Pam was a 1972 graduate of Williamsport High School and a longtime operator at AT&T, where she retired from. Pam loved going to auctions, collecting antiques, spending time at the cabin in Canada and had a great love for wolves. She also enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of 36 years, Cayce F. Doane; her mother, Irene Henne of Cogan Station; three children, Aaron (Jennifer) Doane of Hughesville, Emily (Joe) Emery of Williamsport and Angela (Jesse) Steinbacher of Muncy; two grandchildren, Nate Doane and Silas Emery; a sister, Cindy (Jeff Sr.) Hughes of Cogan Station; and two brothers, Dale (Cathy) Henne of Pleasant Valley and Howard Jr. (Gloria) Henne of South Williamsport.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Stoltz Cemetery, Cogan Station. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary.
