Teresa J. Myers, 91, of Elimsport, Pa., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit while surrounded by her family.
Teresa was born March 17, 1922, at Estella, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Leon H. and Hazel B. (McCarty) Day.
Teresa was a member of the Elimsport United Methodist Church.
Teresa was survived by her sister, Anna Miller, of Lock Haven; her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and James Bower, of Elimsport; her granddaughter, Deanna M. (Alan) Miller, and three great-grandchildren, Curtis B. Miller, Samantha R. Miller and Robert A. (Mary) Miller, two great-great-grandchildren, Savannah and Clover, all of Montoursville. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Heather R. Myers and a daughter-in-law, Connie Myers, both of South Williamsport, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late parents, Teresa was predeceased by her husband, Marvin A. Myers in February 1998 with whom she had celebrated 50 years of marriage in December 1997. She was also predeceased by her son, Harry Dean Myers and four brothers, Norman, Clinton, Kenneth and Harry.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Forksville Cemetery, Forksville, Pa., with the pastor Michael Hill officiating.
