David B. Webster, 71, of Stony Fork Road, Wellsboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rory L. Prothero Webster.
David was born Jan. 14, 1942, the son of the late Robert William and Olive Mae Bailey Webster. He was retired from Osram Sylvania Mfg., as a shift mechanic. David was a life member of the NRA. He was active in establishing awareness of the local bald eagle population. In addition, he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, biking and cross country skiing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two children, Tami Sue Webster and Robert William Webster, both of Tioga; two grandchildren, Sanjana Webster Gupta, Tioga and Cory Shreves, Ky.; sister, Bonnie Sebella, Lake Forest, Calif.; aunt, Barbara Webster of Florida; and several cousins.
Friends and family are invited to David's Life Celebration on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901.
