Maxine F. Fink, 81, of Williamsport, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Sycamore Manor Health Center, surrounded by her family.
Born Feb. 11, 1932, in Montgomery, she was a daughter to the late Clarence and Edna (Andrews) Ward. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.
Maxine loved gardening, sewing, music and playing the piano. She was also a member of Faith Alliance Church.
Surviving are her three children, Deb (Gary) Corter of Linden, James (Robin) Fink of Cogan Station and Shawn (Wendy) Fink of Salladasburg; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma (Frank) Freezer of Montoursville; and a brother, Amos (Martha) Ward of Williamsport.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Faith Alliance Church, 2405 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, with Pastor John Otto officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maxine's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18071.
