$3,500 theft alleged
Dale W. Erb Jr., 54, of 440 Freedom Road, faces state police charges after he was caught allegedly stealing $3,500 worth of tools and equipment from Dawn Trucking Co., 350 Fairfield Road, Fairfield Township on Jan. 24.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman on charges of theft and trespassing, Erb was released on $15,000 bail.
Michael Henry Frederick, 53, of 1715 Blaine St., was charged with misdmeanor shoplifting after he was caught trying to flee Wegmans, 201 William St., with $260 worth of merchandise on Feb. 9.
Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Allen P. Page III, Frederick was released on $1,500 bail.
Credit card stolen
A South Williamsport man has been charged with using a stolen credit card to make $502 worth of purchases at Wal-Mart in Montourville on Aug. 24, state police said.
Jeremy T. Knott, 32, of 352 East Second Ave., was charged with using Cadence Perez's card within hours after a break-in occurred at her home on Heshbon Road in Loyalsock Township, police said.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Jon E. Kemp on charged of felony access device fraud, receiving stolen property and conspiracy, Knott was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Public urination case
Edward Evans, 48, of 1226 W. Fourth St., was charged by a county detective with indecent exposure after he was caught allegedly urinating on a trash can outside the Lycoming County Court House about 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 25.
Jailed on a probation violation, Evans remains in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Gregory Charles Georgeson, 30, of 1148 1/2 Market St., was charged by state police with theft by deception after he walked into Kmart, 1915 E. Third St., took a $54 stuffed animal off a shelf and allegedly attempted to get a refund for it on Nov. 27. He has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Gary W. Whiteman.
