MommiesRfit is an exercise regimen specifically designed for pregnant women and mothers with small children.
"We offer a full body workout through functional fitness," said Mackenzie Fink, owner and director of the new business.
While fitness is a key component, it's unique in that it allows mothers to work out with and bond with their children.
Mackenzie Fink leads an exercise class of present and future mothers of newborns in Brandon Park.
Fink said she's excited about it.
"It's a great way for moms to get together and have fun. Moms who have done it have seen results," she said.
Fink decided to launch her fitness venture after returning to the Williamsport area from Massachusetts and realizing there was no other exercise regimens of this kind locally.

through the summer
A self-described exercise nut, she felt it was important to introduce it here.
"I have a real passion for working out," she said.
She is certified for group fitness and pre- and post-natal fitness through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates.
Fink, the married mother of a 1-year-old with another child on the way, noted that many moms get distracted by other things while raising their small children
Not surprisingly, any fitness plans they may consider often go awry.
Fink said many mothers often wonder how they can work out while still spending time with a child.
Most women, she noted, can benefit from toning their bodies after having babies.
Her fitness plan is specifically designed to work the muscles mothers use.
"To participate, you have to come with a stroller," she said. "We use fitness bands for strength training."
Fink is holding her classes in Brandon Park throughout the summer.
"It's just an awesome way for moms to get together," she said.
Interested mothers, she said, can join a boot camp.
She said it's not too late to sign up for the initial session, which began May 1.
