Minnie M. Ulmer, 94, of Williamsport, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at The Williamsport Home.
Born Nov. 16, 1918, in Williamsport, she was a daughter to the late George and Lulu (Horn) Waltz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Ulmer in 1995; a son, Richard Ulmer in 2003; three sisters; and a brother.
Minnie was a former member of Anthony Baptist Church, the First Baptist Church-Elimsport, and attended Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from Williamsport Hospital where she worked in the dietary department and was a house supervisor at the Williamsport School of Nursing. After retirement, she was a cook at Little League.
Surviving are her two daughters, Sharon Brown of Trout Run and Gail Ulmer of Linden; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Evelyn Stryker of Florida.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with Rev. James Sunderland officiating. Burial will follow at State Road Cemetery, Cogan Station. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
