Cynthia "Cindy" A. (Bower) Menne, 58, of 1301 Grampian Blvd., passed away peacefully at her home May 9, 2013. A daughter to Eugene and Amelia Abrunzo Bower, she was born Sept. 15, 1954, in Williamsport, Pa.
Cindy was a 1972 graduate of Williamsport Area High School then went on to obtain a nursing degree from the Williamsport Area Community College. She worked in the nursing field for 15 years and then spent the remainder of her life dedicated to her family.
Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, knitting, crocheting and spending time in Canada at the family lake house.

She will be sorely missed by many loving family members: her parents, Eugene and Amelia Abrunzo Bower of Williamsport; a son, Jonathan (Michelle) Menne; a daughter, Genea Menne, both of Ohio; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Marissa of Ohio; two brothers, Maurice (Mary Jo) Bower and Michael (Peggy) Bower; three nephews, Michael, Wesley and Matthew Bower, all of the city.
A memorial celebration of Cindy's life will be held Tuesday morning, May 14, at St. Joseph Worker the Worker Parish, Annunciation Church, 711 Edwin St., Williamsport, Pa. Friends and family may call to the church at 9:30 a.m. for visitation. A Catholic Mass is to follow at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Brian Van Fossen as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that donations be made in Cindy's name to the Gatehouse, c/o Susquehanna Health Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701. The family would also like to thank Spitler Funeral Home in Montoursville, Pa., for taking care of the arrangements.
