Habitat for Humanity welcomes new director

Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity has announced the appointment of Tina Sigler McDowell as executive director. A graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor's in education, McDowell most recently worked with the Northcentral PA Chapter of the American Red Cross in Williamsport. She also has held leadership roles at Union County United Way in Lewisburg and TIME, a community and economic development program in Milton, as well as serving as the director of student volunteer services at Bucknell University. McDowell is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley and has served in volunteer roles with Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement of Central PA, the YMCA, Community Harvest Soup Kitchen in Milton and the SUN Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
