The natural gas boom of the local area brought the Tyndale Factory Store to South Williamsport last year.
Located at 60 W. Southern Ave., the store offers a wide line of apparel for gas and electrical workers, according to store manager Lisa Klein.
Shirts, pants, outerwear, gloves and other work apparel hang from the many racks found inside the store.
Store manager Lisa Klein checks shelves and racks loaded with shirts, pants and other clothing geared specifically toward gas drilling and other industrial work at Tyndale Factory Store in South Williamsport.
"We are bringing in a full line of safety products soon," Klein said.
Hard hats, safety glasses and harnesses are among the merchandise that could soon be available. Customers can browse through the showroom or try out clothing in any of the fitting rooms located inside the store.
In addition to Tyndale, the product line includes Wrangler, Carhartt, Bulwark, and Polartec. The Tyndale products, Klein noted, are fire retardant.

Klein said business has been good in the first year. A demand for additional space prompted a move of the store from its original location next door to its present site.
All the store's products are U.S. produced, which keeps prices affordable for customers, Klein noted.
"Every day we get a new customer," she said. "Word of mouth has been very good for us."
Klein feels the store location in the borough near Route 15 is a good spot for attracting business.
"Last September we had a truckload sale. It really gave us good exposure," she said.
In addition to Klein, the store employs three part-time people. Tyndale is part of Tyndale USA.
"It's a well-established company people can trust," Klein said.
Customers are pleased, she said, with product quality and selection.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
