We just wanted to say thank you to Elaine Scott for recently submitting the early 1950s picture of children attending Vacation Bible School at The Salvation Army.
That was pretty amazing! There must have been 100 kids in that picture! But you know, that can still happen! Some of those kids are probably grandparents and/or great grandparents now.
You can still get your children involved in activities at The Salvation Army, especially for a Youth Camp for those boys and girls going into 1st through 8th grades the week of August 5-9 from 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. It includes dinner, activities and a craft each night.
We would love to see that many kids flooding the hallways of The Salvation Army again!
