A city man was found guilty by a Lycoming County jury of one count of felony robbery this week.
Antwone Cormier, 27, attempted to rob the M&T Bank at 2001 W. Fourth St. on Dec. 28, 2012.
Cormier entered the bank around 4 p.m. on a Friday and instructed a clerk to fill a bag with money.
When he attempted to leave the bank, a customer pinned him to the ground and several others assisted in apprehending Cormier, who had about $425 in the bag.
Cormier was convicted of theft and receiving stolen property, both misdemeanors, and found not guilty of another count of robbery and simple assault.
He will be sentenced on July 18.
