Kathleen A. Wiegand, of Watsontown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born March 27, 1955, in Coplay, Pa., Kathy was the daughter of Eleanor and Howard Hahn.
Kathy graduated from Whitehall High School and received her bachelor's of science from Allentown College, now known as DeSales University, her associate's in clinical health services from Penn State University and her master's of health science from Nova University.

Kathy was employed by Geisinger Medical Center as a physician's assistant. She also was employed by the Federal Prison System as a physician's assistant and health services administrator. She was most recently employed by Pennsylvania College of Technology as a clinical director in the Physician's Assistant Program.
Kathy enjoyed sewing and was extremely talented in making quilts, custom clothing and other crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Howard F. Wiegand; daughters, Bethany M. Wiegand and Lindsay K. (Phillip) Kaylor; sister, Susan B. (Michael) Smoyer; brother, James A. (Janine) Hahn; niece and nephews, Christopher M. (Ashley) Smoyer, Janelle N. (Sean) Rennolds, and Brett A. Smoyer (fiance, Taylor Glosek) and great-nephew, Benjamin Paul Smoyer. She is also survived by her mother, Eleanor L. Hahn, Allentown, and dogs, Bentley and Stella.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Watsontown Alliance Church, 1165 Eighth St. Drive, Watsontown, with Pastor Donald Jones officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m.

Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, will be assisting the family.
