Teresa Louise Schleich, age 63, of Walkers Ford Road, Greeneville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Tom Cole.
Ms. Schleich was a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Following graduation from college, Teresa was employed in the fashion and toy industries. She devoted much of her life to non-profit organizations helping those in need. She attended Notre Dame Catholic Church in Greeneville.
She is survived by her sisters, Victoria S. Cole (Thomas) of Greeneville, Tenn, Laura S. Irwin (Stuart) of Pittsburgh, Martha Winslow of Lock Haven; her brothers, John D. Schleich (Teresa) of Springfield, N.H. and Paul J. Schleich (Eugenia) of Berwick; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Georgia, Eric, Victor, Mary Elizabeth and Benjamin; great-nieces and nephews, Nathan, Annalise, Charlotte, Ava, Mary Scarlett and Hadley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Mary Louise Schleich of Williamsport, and her grandparents: Jacob and Anna Zitteroff Schleich, and Frances and Teresa McMahon Boland.
A funeral mass will be held July 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Jim Harvey officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
