WELLSBORO - John Putnam and Marie Wilcox recently teamed up to share their musical talent with residents at The Green Home.
Putnam and Wilcox performed together at Duncan Tavern for four years singing duets accompanied by Wilcox's piano playing and Putnam's guitar.
After a few years away from their act, Wilcox and Putnam got the idea to perform together again when they discovered they were both receiving rehabilitation therapy at The Green Home at the same time and felt it was a sign that they should get back together to use their talents.
Drawing from local inspiration, Putnam has released several albums focusing on rural Pennsylvania, specifically Tioga County and Williamsport Mountain.
The duo has since delighted TGH residents with favorite tunes as well as hits from Putnam's albums.
Located in downtown Wellsboro, The Green Home offers around-the-clock professional nursing services, rehabilitation services (speech, occupational and physical therapy), medical social work and counseling services.
They also provide nutrition services, dentistry, podiatry and radiology services as well as a variety of activities and recreational programs.
