Debra A. (Salvatori) Schwanbeck, 57, of Williamsport, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.
Born April 6, 1956, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Fred and Arlene Strouse Salvatori.
She was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School and also graduated from the Williamsport Hospital School of Medical Transcription. Debra had worked in the medical transcription office for Williamsport Hospital for 37 years. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and a member of the former Ascension Church. She was member of Sons of Italy Lodge No. 138 and loved outings with her "Cabin Girls." She was an avid traveler, loved cooking Italian food, but most importantly loved her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Williamsport, are her husband, Thomas R. Schwanbeck whom she celebrated 31 years of marriage with on April 24; three children, Keirsten E. Schwanbeck (Derek McDonald) of Boulder, Colo., Graham T. Schwanbeck (Ashley) of Williamsport, and Katarina K. Schwanbeck of Williamsport; a granddaughter, Aviana; five siblings, Melanie Preziosi of Williamsport, Jeffrey Salvatori of Picture Rocks, Fred Salvatori of Williamsport, Michael Salvatori of Cogan Station, and Anita Tempesco of Blandon; many nieces and nephews, and she was so looking forward to the birth of her grandson, Patrick in a few months.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Fourth and Walnut Streets, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (tonight) at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St.
