WELLSBORO - Two men were charged following domestic incidents at their residences recently. According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's and James Carlson's offices, they are:
Bruce G. Nance III, 32, of 115 Scouten Hill Road, charged by state police at the residence in Charleston Township on July 1 with simple assault and harassment after police found Nance sitting in the backyard. He allegedly told police he and Rachel Preble had argued and that he threw a metal water bottle at her and hit her in the face. Preble suffered swelling and cuts on her right eye socket and inner nose area. After the two argued she said she told him to leave and he threw the water bottle full of water at her. He was jailed July 2 in lieu of $5,000 bail and his preliminary hearing set for July 9.
Kevin D. Kling, 43, of 232 Granger St., Blossburg, was charged by state police at the residence, June 23, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly injured Rebecca Wilcox by pushing her against a cabinet, causing a bump to her head and then threw a coffee pot and two glasses at her hitting her and cutting her arm. He then allegedly pushed her out of the house and would not let her back in. He was released on $2,500 bail and his July 2 preliminary hearing continued.
