The Williamsport Crosscutters missed out on a first road sweep with a 3-1 loss Monday night at Aberdeen.
Aberdeen scored runs in the bottom of the seventh and the bottom of the eighth to break open a tie.
The Cutters led 1-0 in the first when Andrew Knapp doubled home Jairo Cardozo.
Chris Nichols (1-1) took the loss, as he allowed the go-ahead run in the seventh on a Hector Veloz single.
The eighth-inning run came on a bases-loaded walk issued by Tyler Buckley.
Cutter starter Julio Reyes did not allow an earned run in five innings.
The team is off tonight before beginning a six-game homestand Wednesday with games vs. Hudson Valley and Lowell.
