Charles C. Thomas, 45, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Hershey Medical Center.
He was born October 11, 1967, in Erie, the son of Charles H. and Patricia R. (Colbert) Thomas.
Charles was the husband of the former Kimberly A. Wright, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
For the past 7 years, he was a Codes Officer for Williamsport.
His smile, laughter and concern for his family and others will be most missed.
Charles was very active within Williamsport and the surrounding communities by coaching girl's basketball, girl's softball, Little League softball, ASA softball and by volunteering his time to the local communities.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Patricia Thomas, of Erie; his wife Kimberly; three daughters, Vershawn Tyler, of Jackson, Miss., Dominique Thomas and Gabrielle Thomas, both of Williamsport; a brother, Eric L. Thomas, and a sister, Marcia (Marc) Blount, both of Erie; and numerous brothers and sisters in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Charles' Life Celebration from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, 604 N. Market St. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Sam Washington officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
