Ross Library 150th anniversary event
LOCK HAVEN - There will be a week long celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War now through Saturday at the Ross Library, 232 W. Main St.
- Abraham Lincoln's favorite cake available by donation, 10 a.m., Today.
- Monument Scavenger Hunt, all day on Tuesday. Participants will be guided through Lock Haven to find historic monuments.

The Salvation Army will be holding KidsFest for children ages 3 to 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army, 119 E Church St.
Pops concert rehearsals to begin
Rehearsals for the annual Milton Harvest Festival Pops concert will begin with a read-through 7 p.m. Monday in the multi-purpose room at the First Baptist Church, 316 Golf Course Road.
Connie Pawling-Young and Tim Latsha are directing.
There are no auditions or attendance requirements and vocal CD's will be distributed for each part. However, there will be auditions for solos on Aug. 8 and 15.
Rehearsals are held every Monday and Thursday until the concert, which will be presented on Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Milton High School auditorium as part of the Harvest Festival.
Children between kindergarten and sixth grade will also meet at the same time in the church sanctuary and will be directed by Ann Lawrence, Lewisburg.
