The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention listed water fluoridation as one of the ten great public health achievements of the 20th century, along with vaccination, family planning, recognition of the dangers of smoking, and other achievements. Other organizations endorsing fluoridation include the World Health Organization, the U.S. Surgeon General, the American Public Health Association, the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, and the national dental associations of Australia, Canada, and the U.S. But what do they all know, anyway? Local dentist Dr. Anthony J. Cipolla says water fluoridation is bad for you and clearly he knows something that all of the aforementioned don't.
