Marlin Lilley recently wrote a letter about racial profiling and listed statistics to basically support racial profiling. Crime is wrong no matter what the offenders skin color is but using distorted statistics to try and justify why profiling is necessary or justified is immoral. By the way can you clarify where you received your statistics from? When listing statistics it's equally important to list your source.
Instead of profiling people, why don't we look at the real crime cause. Lack of education and opportunities, mental illness which includes drug and alcohol abuse, poor economic situations and other things. When these problems are solved, crime among all skin colors will drop.
