Laura K. (Kramer) Claudius, 93, formerly of South Williamsport, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at The Williamsport Home.
Born May 23, 1920, in Williamsport, she was a daughter to the late Fred J. Kramer and Susie "Belle" (Kitson) Kramer.
Laura was a 1937 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She worked at the Little League International for many years and retired as an executive secretary from Anchor Darling Valve.
Laura was a member of New Covenant United Church of Christ and was very active in the Clara Greevy Sunday school class.
Laura was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, baking and knitting.
She also enjoyed playing the organ, traveling with her husband and loved her two dogs, Precious and Abby.
Surviving is her daughter, Elaine C. Payne, of South Williamsport; a granddaughter, Krishgen Payne, of Williamsport; two great-grandchildren, Xyla Payne and Xyon-Garreth Watts; twin brothers, Jack Kramer, of Williamsport, and Fred (Bettie) Kramer, of Selinsgrove; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward J. Claudius; her son, Edward W. Claudius; and three sisters, Dorothy O'Connor, Cleone Lentz and Gloria Jean Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Dr. Karin Stork-Whitson officiating.
Visitation will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service at Sanders Mortuary. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery.
