Henry J. "Jim" Heck Jr., 76, of North Street, Watsontown, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at his home.
Born June 22, 1937, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Henry J. and Mabel Heck. On Sept. 4, 1977, he married the former Victoria Lee Auman and they celebrated 33 years of marriage until her passing, Oct. 25, 2010.
Jim was an Army veteran serving from 1955 to 1963. He attended Liberty High School and retired from Xerox Corp. in Oklahoma City in 1998.
He loved traveling to Indian reservations throughout the Midwest with his late wife.
Surviving are sons, Henry J. Heck V, of Sunbury, and Wayne A. Heck, of Vass, N.C.; daughters, Rae Ann Malucci, of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Jean Marie Kline, of Northumberland, Tammy Lynn Heck, of Danville, Pamela Love Metzger, of Northumberland; step son, Jeffrey Dunkleberger, of Fort Drum, NY; sister-in-laws, Tracy Hart, of Sunbury, Norma Stahl, of Kreamer; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. James Fladland of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watsontown, officiating. A private burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, at the convenience of the family.
